Congratulations!

I am thrilled that you are expecting a new addition to your family! As a mom of three, I have been in your shoes. I understand the conflict of wanting the greatest surprise of your life and also really wanting to feel prepared to welcome your baby into your home. If you are on the fence about finding out your baby's gender because you don't want to miss out on the products you love, you've come to the right place. Don't overbuy for both genders and then have to return half of it when your baby arrives. Trust me, you would rather snuggle with your little one. Instead, let me Simply Surprise you!

The Birth of Simply Surprised

Simply Surprised began when I was pregnant with my third child and decided to be surprised at birth by the gender of the baby. I am a planner who likes to prepare for all outcomes, so my family and friends could not believe I was choosing to be surprised for such a life-changing event. To be honest, there were items I wished I could have bought throughout my pregnancy if only I had known if I was having a baby boy or a baby girl. I had the kindest family and friends offer to be the only person who knew the gender so they could buy the items I wanted, but I just couldn't risk someone close to me spoiling the biggest surprise of my life. That's when it hit me....

I kept this idea in my mind throughout my pregnancy and in the weeks after I welcomed my sweet baby boy. I took note of the items I wished I had at the hospital and the items I felt like I compromised on by choosing to be surprised. These items are now the template for the bundles currently offered.

What if there was a trusted, neutral third party who knew what the baby was?

Someone who I could send the items I love for both genders to and they would purchase only the ones for the gender I am having?

Someone that I don't see or speak to regularly and will not accidentally let the secret slip?
